Digital immersion

Every year, Halliburton Landmark brings together customers, partners, and industry professionals to unveil and discuss the latest technological advances in oil and gas at the Landmark Innovation Forum and Expo (LIFE). For LIFE 2018, the oilfield services giant wanted to break the mold.

The result was a first-of-its-kind experience for the annual expo. As the lights went down, thousands of people in a hotel in downtown Houston were transported to the Middle Eastern desert, to the snow-covered Bakken formation in North Dakota, and to the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. This virtual journey was only the beginning.

Deploying our full suite of in-house animation and video production capabilities, Adcetera built a mainstage event that combined video, animation, overhead projections, soundscapes, and three curved screens — at 13K resolution — and turned them into an experience that immersed attendees in Halliburton Landmark’s digital innovations.

The event set a new standard for LIFE; Halliburton Landmark is working to recreate the experience for the Abu Dhabi edition of the expo.
