Feast on Foodie

At Adcetera, we love this time of the year. From “friendly” fantasy football to counting our blessings with our agency family, not a lot beats November — or the attitude of gratitude that comes with it. And if there’s one thing we really look forward to this month, it’s the food. Thanks to our annual Thanksgiving feast — think deep-fried turkeys, mac-and-cheese apps, and a whole table of pies — November is the month we officially say goodbye to our summer diets and start stuffing ourselves with stuffing.

This November we’ve got a few new recipes to try out, courtesy of our client, Sysco. In February, Sysco came to Adcetera with a distinct ask: revamp Foodie, the company’s quarterly publication, including a full design and content overhaul. The first issue, an all-American edition focused on burgers, was published in the summer. But it’s the holiday issue that really has our mouths watering.

From turkey and ham to dressing and dessert, this issue is all about holiday favorites — traditional and otherwise. Looking for a twist on the classic Thanksgiving main dish? Try the Cajun turkey roulade with cranberry basil relish. Want something sweet to round out your fall meal? How about a persimmon crème brûlée? Each issue of Foodie — three and counting since the first launched a little over seven months ago — contains mouth-watering photographs, tasty recipes, and on-trend content, cultivated by the Sysco and Adcetera teams. To take turkey day to the next level, go to syscofoodie.com. As for Adcetera’s famous fried turkey recipe? That’s an agency secret.

Strategic. Creative. People.

Adcetera is a Houston-based strategic, creative company founded and powered by thinkers, innovators and overachievers. We are integrated designers, writers, programmers, animators, strategists and account experts sharing a passion for solving the impossible for our clients.

We work with some of the biggest brands on some of their biggest projects (AIG, DOW, HP, HPE, and Sysco) as well as some of the best brands headquartered in our own backyard (Texas Children’s Hospital, High Fashion Home, and Memorial Hermann). Many of our relationships — with our employees and our clients — span decades. We are blessed and we are proud — proud of the work we do and the brands for whom we speak. If what is important to us is important to you, let’s start a conversation. Call or drop in. Our doors are open and our phones are on.
