In 2007, the ESCAPE Family Resource Center founded its Learn to Parent movement, and they needed a Web presence to speak to it. Adcetera created a new website, learntoparent.org, and wrote and edited its content to establish a centralized location for parents and families in the greater Houston area to access information about parenting classes and family resources. The site offers description of all classes offered by ESCAPE/Learn to Parent, including classes on parenting and child abuse, families going through divorce, multicultural family issues, and more. The goal is to create loving, effective communication within families that have experienced domestic violence or are in need of counseling resources. The site features informative video, donation functionality, information for volunteers, family testimonials, and numerous resources for parents.
